All housing developers are compulsory to practice the
build-then-sell (BTS) concept by 2015. In this way, the buyers will need to pay
a 10% deposit and the remaining 90% will be paid only after construction is
complete.
There are already four government-linked companies (GLC)
involved in housing development have agreed to implement the build-then-sell (BTS)
concept earlier starting next year. This will definitely reduce the number of
victims of abandoned housing projects.
